Small change in the run-up to provincial elections: DOP waives participation, Jesus Lives participates

The Drenthe Elderly Party (DOP) will not participate in the provincial elections on March 15, while Jesus Lives will participate, the registry of the Drents Parliament reports.

With that state the number of participating parties at nineteen. The parties had to indicate in December whether they wanted to participate, but had until last Monday to submit their lists of candidates. DOP was unable to find enough candidates.

The participating parties are now PvdA, Forum for Democracy, VVD, CDA, GroenLinks, PVV, ChristenUnie, SP, D66, Sterk Lokaal Drenthe, 50Plus, Party for the Animals, Jesus Lives, JA21, BBB, Alliantie, Volt, SGP and BVNL .
