Defeating Slovenia 79-64 in the semi-finals of the FIBA Men’s Under-18 European Basketball Championship, Turkey made it to the final. The crescent-star team will face Spain in the final on Sunday, August 7 at 20.30 at Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Sports Hall.
Starting the match with 8-0 series, Slovenia increased the gap to 17 points in the section where it was effective with Osojnik: 23-6. Slovenia finished the period 28-13 superior.
Increasing the lead to 20 points (36-16) in the second period, Turkey caught a 9-0 series against Slovenia, and reduced the gap to 11 points with 5 minutes before the end of the half: 25-36.
