In the Nieuwstraat in Gilze, a horse slipped in front of a chariot on Wednesday evening. That happened when the 27-year-old horse wanted to turn with the chariot to the Meester Schrauwenstraat.
The horse was unable to get up on its own after the fall. The fire brigade put the horse back on its feet with a crane. The horse was then checked by a veterinarian. It is unknown what caused the animal to go down.
