Slipknot with new tour to the Netherlands | Show

The American metal band Slipknot will perform in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on December 5, 2024. The performance is part of the Here Comes The Pain tour, reports concert organizer MOJO. Ticket sales start Friday. Slipknot first performed in Europe 25 years ago and is celebrating the anniversary with the new tour.

The Scottish metal band Bleed From Within provides the support act.

The metal formation from Iowa was founded in 1995, won a Grammy Award and had 12 platinum and 41 gold records. The group is known for wearing masks both on stage and in music videos. After every tour or after every new album there are usually new masks. As soon as the band members put on the masks, they “step into the world of Slipknot.”

Last November, the Americans announced that they were saying goodbye to drummer Jay Weinberg, who had been with them since 2014, for ‘creative’ reasons. It is not yet known who will be his replacement.
