Geneva – Is it a ‘suicide letter’? Russian diplomat Boris Bondarev, based at the UN mission in Geneva, has publicly lashed out at his bosses in Moscow and resigned. In a farewell letter he says he has “never been so ashamed of his country”. “It was no longer a question of if, but when I would do this. I want to be able to look in the mirror again in the morning.”
