Slack has certainly become familiar in many companies during the corona period and even before that. The instant messaging program makes it easy to keep in touch in the work community, and it’s easy to keep conversations under control in different channels.
Slack has offered a paid subscription for businesses as well as a free version. Now the company is changing its pricing to be more expensive and changing the free order. Slack told about the changes on its pages.
The changes are summarized below:
- The monthly price of Pro subscriptions will rise from 7.50 euros to 8 euros.
- The annual price of Pro subscriptions, paid monthly, will rise from 6.25 euros to 6.75 euros.
- In free subscriptions, the way messages are saved changes. Before, Slack showed the last 10,000 messages and offered 5 gigabyte downloads. In the future, the number of messages will not be counted, but messages and downloads from the last 90 days will be displayed.
Slack says that the changes only apply to Pro subscriptions, i.e. the prices of Business+ subscriptions will not be changed.
The price changes will take effect on September 1, 2022. Slack says that this is the first price change since Slack was launched in 2014. You can get the lower price for another year by ordering before September.
