Walker herself says of her new challenge: “Switzerland is a wonderful country with a great football culture. Interviews with sports legends like Franz Beckenbauer, Zinédine Zidane and Lothar Matthäus made a lasting impression on me. I’ve loved football since I was a child. My dad is always went to the stadium with me and the emotions on the pitch inspired and impressed me.”
The presenter has been on Sky since 2014. Before that, she also presented for the broadcaster Sat 1 and the MDR. In addition, Walker moderated events for fashion shows. She has a twelve year old daughter.
