Wood tar is one of the (many) resources in Skull and Bones, and it is quite complex to recover. Here’s how it’s done…
You can build the biggest and fastest boat on earth, but it’s pretty much useless if you don’t have weapons to put on it in Skull and Bones. If you want to create many of the best weapons for your ship, such as the Culverin V, you will have to look for Wood Tar, a resource that can be rather elusive, as it cannot be collected from any coast.
We’ll walk you through the different ways to collect wood tar, so you can equip your fleet with the best gear in Skull and Bones.
How to get wood tar | Skull and Bones —
The French Company ships around Red Isle, especially in the southern part of the region, all have the ability to supply you with Wood Tar. Remember to board ships whenever you can for bonus loot and a better chance of getting what you need.
Likewise, looting Company bases and settlements can also earn you Wood Tar. This method may take longer and involve a tougher fight, but it will allow you to get a lot of loot, in addition to everything you can get from the ships you destroy during the battle.
Finally, if you are unlucky or don’t want to spend time getting it through random loot, you can go to the Guérande settlement, where the merchant will sell you Wood Tar for 600 Silver each.
