Four hills, four competitions: it’s a season highlight for the ski jumpers. The winner of the golden eagle is sought in four competitions. This is how the 71st Four Hills Tournament runs at the sports show.

For the 71st time at the Four Hills Tournament, the question arises as to who can cope best with the four different hills? In the end, the winner will hold the golden eagle in his hands. Whoever wins all four competitions also writes another impressive chapter in the history of the tournament.

Four jumps – four challenges

But first the world’s best ski jumpers have to prove their skills on the facilities in Germany and Austria over the Bakken. The basis for a successful tour is laid on the Schattenberg ski jump in Oberstdorf. The New Year’s ski jump on the large Olympic ski jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

At the Bergisel in Innsbruck, the wind conditions and form will once again be decisive for victory. The grand finale takes place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen. At the foot of the Hochkönig, the tour winner is crowned and celebrated with the golden eagle.

Start on December 28th in Oberstdorf

Last year, the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi won the tour for the second time after 2018/19. Karl Geiger was fifth, Markus Eisenbichler sixth. Now the cards are being reshuffled.

The Four Hills Tournament begins on December 28th with the qualification in Oberstdorf and ends on January 6th with the final in Bischofshofen. Stations are Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen.
