The qualification planned for 2 p.m. on the mega hill for the individual competition on Friday and Saturday has been canceled. The organizers announced this on Thursday. This means that all 47 athletes can start in the first two of four competition rounds.

DSV hopefuls Wellinger and the other medal candidates will be flying around Edelmetal on Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. In addition to Wellinger, national coach Stefan Horngacher also nominated Karl Geiger, Stephan Leyhe, Pius Paschke and Philipp Raimund.

At the end of the four-day event, team flying takes place on Sunday. Given the poor form of the athletes, Germany is more of an outsider at the start alongside Wellinger.
