DSV jumpers with a need for improvement
While the ski jumpers from Austria and Norway in particular left a strong impression on the first day of competition, things didn’t go as hoped for the German athletes. The best DSV athlete was Selina Freitag in 19th place ahead of Agnes Reisch. The performance of Katharina Althaus was particularly surprising, as she had done well in training and qualifying on Friday. She was 21. Today Althaus has already improved in the qualification and was in the top 6. The other DSV jumpers are also back in the competition.

Opseth celebrates victory on Saturday
Saturday was all about the Norwegian Silje Opseth. Opseth had already taken the lead after the first round with 123 meters and did not miss out in the final with 127 meters. With 7.3 points, she prevailed over Marita Kramer, who, after difficult weeks in preparation, seems to be in good shape for the start of the season. The good result of the Austrians was rounded off by Eva Pinkelnig in third place.
