Ski jumping live: Raw Air Lillehammer Individual II (women) in the live ticker | 03/03/2022 19:30

20:02

Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (AUT)

Jacqueline Seifriedsberger can’t attack at the front either. The Austrian comes to 120.5 meters and also misses important points when landing.

20:01

Seyfarth disqualified

Is that annoying! Seyfarth was finally able to start again after the positive corona test and now she is missing the final after a disqualification. The suit was illegal.

20:00

Eva Pinkelnig (AUT)

Before the last ten athletes in the first round, the jury goes down one more gate. It shouldn’t really taste like peeing, because she would certainly have needed the higher approach here. After 116.5 meters she is eleventh.

19:58

Spela Rogelj (SLO)

Spela Rogelj is the next starter to snatch the lead away from Clair. But she too will have to line up behind him after 122 meters.

19:58

Frida Westman (SWE)

Frida Westman risked everything and came to Norway to further her career. So far she has been rewarded for this and with each jumping she is getting closer to the top of the world. After 127.5 meters, only the grades cost her the lead. She is 5.8 points behind Clair after 15 values.

19:57

Yuki Ito (JPN)

Yuki Ito is the first starter who can put a lot of pressure on Clair. With 126.5 meters and solid distances, the experienced Japanese is 1.8 points behind Clair.

19:56

Anna Odine Strom (NOR)

Anna Odine Strøm was not able to build on her results from last winter this season and the knot has not yet burst on the home hill. At 118.5 meters, she is already well behind Clair, who is still in the lead.

19:55

Thea Minyan Bjorseth (NOR)

Thea Minyan Bjørseth is the next starter who can jump the K-point. But with the many top jumps so far, that’s not enough to place yourself further up. 123 meters and 120.9 points mean seventh place.

19:54

Kaori Iwabuchi (JPN)

Kaori Iwabuchi misses her jump and is way too late to act. So it then lacks the height and speed to be able to penetrate here at the front. But she also booked the final with 119 meters.

19:54

Yuka Seto (JPN)

The wind has picked up again, but it is by no means in an area where no long jumps would be possible. After 112.5, Yuka Seto will be back early in the final.

19:52

Chiara Kreuzer (AUT)

Chiara Kreuzer’s facial expressions look completely different after the jump. The 24-year-old certainly has plans for more than 122 meters. She ranks sixth behind the German duo.

19:52

Jerneja Brecl (SLO)

Jerneja Brecl edges her skis very steeply and as a result the young Slovenian gives up a few more meters. At 125.5 meters, however, she shouldn’t look completely dissatisfied at the start of the competition.

19:50

Abigail Strate (CAN)

Abigail Strate has been going through a strong development over the past few weeks. Yesterday she wasn’t happy with her performance in Lillehammer but today she can improve too and after 126 meter she is second behind Clair.

19:50

Juliane Seyfarth (GER)

After her corona infection, Juliane Seyfarth is back today. Accordingly, she only made one jump on the facility and she does her job really well for that! Seyfarth uses all her experience on this facility, has good airborne performance and takes third place with 125.5 meters.

19:49

Selina Friday (GER)

It is the turn of the next DSV jumper and the conditions still allow for long jumps. But Selina Freitag can only deliver to a limited extent. After the take-off she stands very steeply over the slats, which really slows her down. A little more than 118.5 meters would have been possible.

19:48

Julia Kykkenen (FIN)

Julia Kykkänen has a much harder time there and has to land at 117 meters. It’s enough for the final, but it will be her turn again early there.

19:47

Karolina Indrackova (CZE)

Karolina Indrackova achieved her best result of the season with 14th place yesterday and today she could also make a good place in midfield. At 122.5 meters she puts down the telemark, which puts her in third place.

19:46

Lara Malsiner (ITA)

Lara Malsiner cannot use the current good phase so well and her jump ended relatively early in comparison. With 119.5 meters, she is also in the final again.

19:45

Julia Clair (FRA)

And also with Julia Clair it’s really going there! The French seems to have finally found an answer to this hill and with a clean technique she can also take full advantage of the good conditions. With 130 meters it is 8.8 points past Görlich.

19:44

Luisa Gorlich (GER)

Luisa Görlich has luck on her side and the wind has suddenly died down almost completely. Then she jumps out of the high starting gate with a lot of speed and after a clean technique she can jump 127 meters. No wonder that the mood is really good in the spout!

19:43

Maja Vtic (SLO)

The 34-year-old was able to fight her way back into the Slovenian team due to failures and so far Maja Vtic has been using her chance. With 119 meters she is definitely in the final. But she will still analyze towards the final, because there was still a few meters more possible.

19:42

Jenny Rautionaho (FIN)

Jenny Rautionaho has similar conditions but cannot keep up with Rajda. With 105 meters, she was 26.6 points short of her Polish competitor. With second place is already safe in the final.

19:41

Kinga Rajda (POL)

For her teammate, it’s just a matter of waiting because the wind is outside the permitted range. The jury finally decides to go down one gate. That doesn’t bother Rajda much, because the tailwind has now decreased significantly. At 119.5 meters, it clearly sets itself apart from the previous competition.

19:38

Nicole Konderla (POL)

Nicole Konderla caught a phase with a little less tailwind. But she can’t use that for a long jump. It doesn’t fit together at all on the take-off table and so the jump is already over after 90 meters. With eighth place, she no longer has a chance of making it to the final.

19:37

Haruka Iwasa (JPN)

The bigger jumps are slowly coming, even if we are still in the area that the top athletes will achieve for a long time. 103 meters bring Iwasa 3.1 points past Komar.

19:36

Katra Komar (SLO)

Katra Komar ensures that Laue gets rid of her leadership immediately. 99 meters are possible for the Slovenian.

19:36

Josephine Laue (GER)

Josephin Laue was able to do a decent jump in Lillehammer yesterday. Today the 20-year-old from the German team has to settle for less and after 94 meters it’s over for her. She has to wait and see if that will be enough to get into the final. Only nine athletes will be eliminated.

19:35

Astrid Norstedt (SWE)

Astrid Norstedt’s respect for the large system is still visible and the young Swede jumps a very upright system, which slows her down. With 90 meters you are first at the top, but is that enough to get into the final?

19:34

Nicole Maurer (CAN)

It’s still sluggish at the moment. Nicole Maurer cannot jump the 100 meters either and lands on the front of the facility at 86 meters.

19:33

Hannah Wiegele (AUT)

Hannah Wiegele is the next starter. What can the Austrian put down in the difficult conditions. Not much either. She doesn’t get into the flying position properly, adjusts the skis steeply and only gets to 87 meters.

19:32

Natalie Eilers (CAN)

Natalie Eilers also has a lot to do with the conditions in the air and has to land before the 90 meter mark. So she will probably not make it into the top 30 and the final today either.

19:30

Karoline Skatvedt (NOR)

Karoline Skatvedt from the Norwegian team starts the competition today. At 80.5 meters, however, the young athlete lands very early. Long jumps are to be expected again today, especially in the back field. In contrast to the men’s competitions, the wind has increased significantly and is coming from behind. No easy prerequisites for the women.

19:24

That’s how the prologue went

In the prologue, which ended a few minutes ago, it was the Slovenians who dominated the action. Ursa Bogataj showed 132.5 meters and landed ahead of teammate Nika Kriznar, who currently leads the Raw Air Tour. Sara Takanashi ended up in third place ahead of Marita Kramer and Yuki Ito.

19:17

Kramer with a deficit

On the first day of the competition, Marita Kramer was already a little behind in the overall standings. But she still has every chance of winning and the generous prize money of the Raw Air Tour. Besides her, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger and Chiara Kreuzer showed good jumps in Lillehammer. Eva Pinkelnig, Lisa Eder and Hannah Wiegele complete the squad.

19:10

Althaus and Seyfarth back at the start

After Katharina Althaus and Juliane Seyfarth had to sit out yesterday, the two veterans of the German team are back in action today. The day started positively for Althaus with sixth place in the prologue. Luisa Görlich, Selina Freitag and Josephin Laue are also at the start.

19:04

Kriznar and Takanashi win on Wednesday

On Wednesday, Nikita Kriznar and Sara Takanashi showed the best jumps. Slovenia’s Kriznar won the qualifier, whose jump also counts for raw air scoring. Sara Takanashi then won the first individual competition of the tour ahead of Kriznar and Ursa Bogataj. In the German team, Luisa Görlich was the best starter in 16th place.

18:58
