Good mood ÖSV-Adler
In the qualification on Thursday, Stefan Kraft, Jan Hörl, Michael Hayböck and Daniel Tschofenig were able to push themselves to the fore with the Austrians with top ten places and should be squinting at the top positions today. Manuel Fettner also wants to prove himself once again. However, Clemens Aigner and Clemens Leitner did not make it into the competition.

Peier in spectator role
In the Swiss team, Killian Peier missed the leap into the top 40, which means that Gregor Deschwanden, Remo Imhof and Simon Ammann will start for the Swiss team. In the team competition, unlike Hamann, Peier will then have the next opportunity.

Season over for Hamann
Since only the 30 best athletes in the World Cup are allowed to take part on the final day of the season on Sunday, the season is already over for Martin Hamann in the DSV team. He missed qualifying for the competition on Thursday. Karl Geiger, Felix Hoffmann, Markus Eisenbichler, Constantin Schmid, Andreas Wellinger and Pius Paschke are in the individual competition.

Less jumps for special rating
As in previous years, there is once again the special classification Planica 7, which now consists of six jumps. The qualifying jump from Thursday, today’s jumps and the jumps from Sunday are included in the ranking. Whoever collects the most points will receive a special bonus from the organizer.

Second attempt in Planica
After nothing was possible yesterday in Planica, even after a long wait, the FIS is starting the second attempt for the individual competition today. The catch-up competition at the season finale is scheduled to start at 8:45 a.m. The individual jumping is carried out in one round. There is no trial run.
Competition postponed!
You tried everything for two hours, but now you have to admit defeat to the winds. Today there will be no more competitions in Planica. The individual competition is to be rescheduled tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. Then there should only be one round before the team jumping follows. Then we’ll be there live again. Until then!
There is a plan B
If nothing works despite all efforts, then there is already a plan B and the competition should be made up on Saturday morning before the team competition. Then the wind should be much calmer.
The wind is back
Half an hour ago it was still looking pretty good, but the wind picked up again just in time for the competition. Borek Sedlak and race director Sandro Pertile agree over the radio that they don’t want to take any risks. You’re still waiting.
Good mood ÖSV-Adler

Manuel Fettner also wants to prove himself once again. However, Clemens Aigner and Clemens Leitner did not make it into the competition.
Peier in spectator role
In the Swiss team, Killian Peier did not make it into the top 40 in qualifying, reducing the team to three starters. Gregor Deschwanden got along best. Remo Imhof took the momentum of the first World Cup point and showed stable flights. Simon Ammann has to step up to qualify if he wants to reach the final.
What’s up for the DSV jumpers?
A difficult season lies behind the German ski jumpers and the results one had hoped for did not materialize this winter. In today’s competition, six of the seven athletes made it through the qualifiers. Martin Hamann has to watch. Karl Geiger led the DSV result, Felix Hoffmann was also in good shape. Markus Eisenbichler, Constantin Schmid, Andreas Wellinger and Pius Paschke complete the team.
Who gets the little ball?
The small ball for the best ski flyer has not yet been awarded. Granerud and Kraft duel for this. Only 60 points separate the two athletes. Timi Zajc is third, 209 points behind and with only two individual flights left, he can no longer participate in the decision.
Slovenians want to cheer again
Last year the Slovenians ended the season in front of their home crowd with strong flights and the team is in a good mood this season too. In yesterday’s qualification, Anze Lanisek prevailed against Timi Zajc and Domen Prevc. As usual, Stefan Kraft and Halvor Egner Granerud, who is already the overall World Cup winner, are among the favourites.
Start time confirmed
The jury meeting has just ended and the start time for 5 p.m. has been confirmed.
New start time 5:00 p.m
The wind seems to be decreasing at the moment and so the jury hopes that something can soon happen in Planica. Now you want to start at 5:00 p.m. The decision will be made in just over half an hour at 4:30 p.m. We’ll keep you up to date.
One keeps hoping
The jury continues to hope that something can still go today. There is another shift of half an hour. New start time is now 4:30pm. The next jury meeting will take place at 4 p.m.
Next shift
There is the next shift in Planica. The jury postpones the start to 4 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The wind is currently uncontrollable with gusts of up to 7 m/s.
Final weekend of the season
The ski jumpers are back in the valley of the ski jumps of Planica, where the world championships took place less than a month ago. This weekend, the biggest of the hills for the season finale is again about points in ski flying. But it is still in the stars whether it will be possible to jump today. The rehearsal was canceled due to too much wind and the first round has now been postponed to 3:30 p.m. The jury would like to meet again at 3:00 p.m.
