Six athletes from the DSV team
With six starters, the German team is also there today. For them, Karl Geiger is a guarantor for top performances, even in the final stages of the season. With the other German athletes, however, not every jump seems to fit. In addition to the World Cup runner-up, Markus Eisenbichler, Severin Freund, Andreas Wellinger, Constantin Schmid and Stephan Leyhe will be at the start.

Six Austrians at the start
The Austrians can start the last competition of the season with six starters. Stefan Kraft certainly has the best chance of fighting for victory today. Manuel Fettner, Michael Hayböck, Daniel Tschofenig as well as Daniel Huber and Jan Hörl also have to work hard to secure the Nations Cup.

Slovenians favorites again
Today the Slovenians are once again the big favorites to win. In particular, Timi Zajc and Peter Prevc can raise hopes. But Ziga Jelar and Anze Lanisek should also be at the top of the list. Marius Lindvik from Norway also wants to be involved when the last win of the winter is awarded.

What else is it about?
There is also a lot at stake at the finale in Planica. In the World Cup, Ryoyu Kobayashi has the best chance of taking the Big Crystal Globe for the second time in his career, but Karl Geiger still has arithmetic chances. The Ski Flying World Cup has not yet been decided either. Here Ziga Jelar leads with 230 points ahead of teammate Timi Zajc (138 points). Stefan Kraft is also still in the running with 200 points. And the Nations Cup has not yet been decided either. After the recent strong results, Slovenia has gotten back into the conversation there and is putting pressure on the leading Austrians.

30 athletes at the start
As usual, only the best 30 athletes present in the current World Cup standings are allowed to start at the last competition of the season. Today they come from a total of seven nations.
