Changes in the national group
In Innsbruck, Stephan Embacher had an extremely strong performance and immediately took World Cup points with him on his debut. However, the 17-year-old will not be taking part in the action in Bischofshofen. Like other athletes from the national group in Innsbruck, Embacher will start at the Continental Cup in Garmisch instead of the final of the tour in order to get an additional quota place. Kobayashi arrives as the tour leader

Ryoyu Kobayashi travels to Bischofshofen as the leader of the tour. The Japanese has collected 857.6 points in the competitions so far and is 4.8 points ahead of Andreas Wellinger, who wants to ensure a German victory again after more than 20 years. The Austrians’ hottest candidate is Jan Hörl, 23.6 points behind.
