“We were really very separated,” said Germany’s currently best jumper Karl Geiger. The 28-year-old from Oberstdorf is married and has a small daughter. “We slept separately,” said Geiger.
National coach Stefan Horngacher said about the protective measures against the corona virus: “If you have children and a wife and then you have to distance yourself, it’s a strange feeling. But the situation simply challenged it. Nothing else helps.”
