Ski crosser Maier is back on the podium

Daniela Maier, third at the Olympics, once again proved her strong form and finished on the podium for the second time in a row.

The 26-year-old ski crosser took third place in Arosa/Switzerland, as she did recently in Val Thorens, France. Olympic champion Sandra Näslund from Sweden was unbeatable again and celebrated her third win in the third World Cup of the winter.

Tim Hronek reached the men’s final, but he just missed the podium in fourth place. Florian Fischer and Florian Wilmsmann in fifth and sixth place rounded off the good result of the German Ski Association (DSV). The Frenchman Terence Tchiknavorian secured the victory.
