Skeleton star Kimberley Bos became European champion three weeks before the start of the Winter Olympics. The Gelderse was the best European skeleton star on Friday with a second place at the last World Cup competition in St. Moritz, Switzerland, which also serves as the European Championship. She also took the overall victory in the World Cup standings.
