The KNSB skating association is taking into account a marathon on natural ice next weekend. “It’s all fragile, but if it works, Saturday morning would be an opportunity,” says Geert-Jan Muskens, competition leader of marathon skating and natural ice coordinator. “The ice skating clubs are realistic, but they go for it.”
