Sixth Gold! Riiber is chasing Frenzel’s World Cup record

The Norwegian Jarl Magnus Riiber has opened the hunt for record world champion Eric Frenzel with his World Championship title in the mixed Nordic Combined competition.

The Scandinavian now has six gold medals and moved up to third place in the list of the most successful combined athletes.

Should Riiber also win the remaining two competitions in Planica, he would overtake Frenzel.
