Six members of drug gang Waregem and Dentergem arrested

The court has busted a drug gang from North Macedonia. The ball started rolling after a police check of the MIRA police zone. Six people have been arrested in actions in Flanders alone, they have appeared before the Kortrijk investigating judge. He extended their detention.

Plantations in Waregem and Dentergem

The gang maintained several cannabis plantations in our country, including in Waregem and Dentergem. They mainly distributed the harvest via a Dutch wholesaler. (Read more below the photo.)

Financial research shows that the criminal profits have been invested in, among other things, the purchase of real estate in the Netherlands and abroad. To stay under the radar, they signed leases and energy contracts under a false name.
