Six people were injured in a single-vehicle accident on Bakelseweg in De Mortel on Saturday evening. Two of them would be in bad shape. The driver of the car has been arrested.
The car may have gone off the road while overtaking on a slight bend, then hit a tree and rolled over. The police are investigating what exactly happened.
Driver arrested
The driver of the car that may have been overtaken stopped and took occupants out of the car. It is not known how serious they are, two of the occupants are said to have been seriously injured.
Two trauma helicopters arrived at the scene, as well as a number of fire trucks and ambulances.
According to a 112 correspondent, the driver of the car, who was also injured, has been arrested for driving under the influence.
