Sir Bobby Charltonlegend of Manchester United and the English soccer team, died this Saturday at 86 years old.

“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Sir Bobby Charlton passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was surrounded by his family”. This is how the family of the historic former Manchester United player has announced his death at the age of 86.

Considered by many to be the best player in the history of English football, Charlton played more than 650 games with the Red Devils shirt, scoring more than 200 goalswhich continue to keep him as the Old Trafford club’s second all-time goalscorer, only behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

With the English team, it was world champion in 1966.
