Sioux is the “Sustainability Champion” according to DIE WELT

Walheim, The traditional shoe manufacturer Sioux from the Swabian town of Walheim was recognized as being particularly sustainable in the “Sustainability Champions” study carried out on behalf of WELT in the “Shoe Manufacturers” category.

The cooperation partners ServiceValue GmbH and DIE WELT evaluated which companies act particularly sustainably using 288,000 consumer ratings for 1,163 companies from 76 sectors. Sustainably committed – a predicate that is now a decisive criterion for many consumers and is highly valued. DIE WELT evaluated a brand’s environmental awareness using the “Sustainability Awareness Score” (SAS). With an SAS of 2.70, Sioux took first place out of a total of 24 shoe manufacturers and qualified as the sustainability winner in its industry.
