Sinterklaas tip: sail with Sinterklaas and the Piets in the parcel boat

Sinterklaas will arrive in Zoetermeer on Saturday 19 November. In addition to the entry and a full program in the center, (grand)parents with children can also sail on the packet boat of Sinterklaas and his helpers.

With the canal boat Sinterklaas and the Pieten arrive via the polders at Farm ‘t Geertje. Parents and children pick up Sinterklaas halfway down the quay and sail with him back to the farm. Later that day there are small canals to look for packages together with Sinterklaas.

This is the program:

• 12.45 pm: Pick up Sinterklaas with the parcel boat
• 13.15: Arrival of the parcel boat and reception of Sinterklaas at the quay at Farm ‘t Geertje
• 13.30: Meet & greet in the cowshed
• 2:45 pm: End

The trips are scheduled at 2.30 pm, 3.15 pm and 4 pm, during which children go looking for presents. They can also get their face painted.

There is a limited number of tickets available for these 15-25 minutes by parcel boat. They cost 6 euros each (0-3 years free) and here can you order them. In case of bad weather, a special Meet & Greet will be organized for people with a ticket.
