Sint comes to a brand new school in Waterland in a convertible

Pieten in racing cars and Saint Nicholas in a convertible, this is how the good saint rolled into the schoolyard in Broek in Waterland this morning. Santa Claus not only came to visit the children, but also cut the ribbon of the brand new primary school.

The children were waiting early in the morning. Will he come or is he late again? The teachers kept it exciting, because maybe he had driven to the old school building. But fortunately the tension was short-lived and Santa Claus entered the schoolyard with three luxury cars and the party could begin.

The children have been in the new building of the public primary school ‘De Havenrakkers’ since the beginning of this school year. The school has been thoroughly renovated in recent years and will only be officially opened by the councilor on December 14.
