Jannik at the Taverna Trilussa, a favorite place for tennis players and Roger. For him, tastings of carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe and ravioli
This is why he was in the gym this morning: he knew he would have to keep in shape after the abundant dinner he treated himself to on Wednesday evening… Jannik Sinner, after the intense days spent between meetings, press conferences and photo shoots, chose to have dinner in one of the restaurants most loved by tennis players when they come to Rome. This is the Taverna Trilussa in Trastevere, where Jannik and his agent Joseph Cohen sat down around 9pm.
LIKE FEDERER
—
Jannik, who after his Australian Open victory said he had always been inspired by Roger Federer, was made to sit at the table usually reserved for the Magnifico when he comes to Rome. Jannik, who loves good food having grown up with his father as a chef, ordered a trio of first courses with amatriciana, cacio e pepe and ravioli, then asked to also try the carbonara. Far from the eyes of Umberto Ferrara, his athletic trainer, he also closed with a dessert. Sinner then took photos and autographs with the customer-fans and returned to the hotel, where another gym session awaits him tomorrow.
