The final of the masters tournament in Miami is between the Italian Jannik Sinner and the Russian Daniil Medvedev. Sinner beat the first seeded Spanish defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in three sets in the semifinals on Friday evening: 6-7(4) 6-4 6-2. Earlier in the day, Medvedev defeated his compatriot Karen Khashanov 7-6 (5) 3-6 6-3 in the other semifinal.
