Single, the search for love comes first
These are the data that emerged from one new Meetic search which reveals the top ten cities with the highest number of singles members of the online dating platform, in relation to the number of inhabitants.
Needless to deny that the search for true love is at the top of the desires of Italian singles: 57% of those interviewed by the survey say, in fact, to have further strengthened the desire for a serious relationship in 2023.

The North beats the South in its commitment to wanting to find it
And it just looks like they are the cities of Northern Italy to be the most active in looking for a partner. The ranking that emerges holds many surprises.
Contrary to expectations, in fact, it is not Milan that stands out among the first places: the so-called city of singles is only in 17th place out of 20. The 1st position was instead Bergamosecond step of the podium a Varesebronze medal a How.
Southern less fiery than what is said
The 4th, 5th and 6th places are always occupied by northern provinces, respectively Treviso, Brescia And Vicenza and the Venetian town is the first capital to appear in the ranking outside of Lombardy
But it’s not over yet: despite the stereotype that classifies the inhabitants of the South as more fiery and passionate, the first southern city that appears in the ranking is only in seventh place and is Salerno.

Single Milanese and Turinese increasingly relaxed
However, even if they won’t be as many as in Bergamo, certainly Milanese singles look for true love with more commitment than people from Bergamo.
They are in fact in second place also with regard to the vocal notes on the profile, one more possibility to allow one’s voice to be heard, literally.
It must be said, however, that they go hand in hand with the Turinese who slightly surpass the Milanese.
