Singer Vanessa Mai (31) can be seen in a guest role in the ARD series “Storm of Love”.
In episode 4055 she played herself, said ARD on Tuesday. As a long-standing guest at the “Fürstenhof”, she is particularly looking forward to a break from the hectic everyday life of her current “Wolkenfrei” promotional tour, especially to the legendary roast pork by Hildegard Sonnbichler (played by Antje Hagen).
The episode is expected to air on June 19. Vanessa Mai said: “It was very exciting for me to be able to spend a day on the set of ‘Storm of Love’. As a fan of the series, I had imagined that the set might appear smaller and that the magic would be taken away from me a bit. But that wasn’t the case at all. I was totally overwhelmed because it all seems so real.”
Vanessa Mai had her breakthrough in 2013 as a singer in the Schlager band Wolkenfrei. In the meantime she embodies the project alone. As an actress, she has also taken part in the ARD pre-evening series “Morden im Norden”.
