Heini Hietanen opens the reasons for the sale decision to Iltalehti.
– Without any drama, the house was put up for sale. Life situations change, the daughters have moved out of the house and we are alone. There is too much space for us here, Heini Hietanen describes.
The debt-free asking price of the Hietanen family’s detached house is EUR 1,390,000.00.

Heini says that the house has been for sale for about a month. They haven’t looked for a new home yet, because the sale of apartments is currently unstable.
– We are aware that the sales period will certainly be quite long. This has been started because at some point this has to be started. We threw the idea out there, in case someone felt the urge to try something like the opportunities offered here.

The noise of history
The site has a plot of almost two hectares and has its own shoreline of up to 200 meters.
The log-built beach sauna is originally a representative sauna built by the city of Kangasala. The Hiestasten family has rented the sauna for various representative and private events. The plot also has a tourist plan.

– Initially, this was a place owned by the city. Over the years, this has also been a private villa, owned by companies and a civic college. There is enough history going back a long way and it attracted us artist souls very much when we bought this ourselves, says Heini.
– For years, a restaurant also operated in the main building, but perhaps this has been a little too remote for restaurant operations. The previous owner eventually converted this into a personal residential house, he continues.

The Hiestasten family bought the property in 2004. 19 and a half years have gone by in the blink of an eye and the family has enjoyed themselves.
Heini Hietanen sees that the property would have many possibilities. The place is peaceful, but it is four kilometers to the center of Kangasala.
He was the first to report on the sale of the house Morning paper.
