Lykke Li’s younger brother, Zacharias Zachrisson, who uses the stage name Vacation Forever, was arrested in Stockholm.

Vocalist Lykke Lin younger brother, also a musician Zacharias Zachrisson was unexpectedly arrested at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm. Three policemen pushed the man to the ground and handcuffed him, and took him to the police station.
Zachrisson was waiting with his girlfriend for his father when the incident started. Later that day, the man got out of the pipe, but demands to know why he was interpreted as “suspicious-looking” according to the police.
– I still don’t know why I was treated so violently and taken to the police station. In the middle of the night I was released, Zachrisson says in Aftonbladet.

At the airport, the police questioned what Zachrisson was even doing there. The authorities asked the partner who was with the man, whether the man was under the influence of narcotics.
– Then, quite unexpectedly, one of the policemen grabbed me by the back of the head and pulled me to the ground. After a while they were both sitting on top of me.
Since Zachrisson was at the airport with his partner, he had filmed part of the arrest on video. It shows how three policemen tackle the man to the ground and put their hands behind his back. A dog is barking in the background.

Zachrisson’s partner published the video on Instagram, after which the man himself commented on the matter in shock. In addition to mental suffering, he says he suffered physical injuries.
– They treated me like that, even though I was standing there quite calmly. What would have been the outcome if I wasn’t a white privileged male? I definitely wanted to share this because this cannot happen.
Zachrisson’s older sister Lykke Li also commented on the matter in the stories section of her Instagram account.
– I don’t even want to think about what would have happened if it hadn’t been a white-skinned person whose girlfriend managed to film a short clip of this brutal police activity.
