Payne, who rose to fame from the band One Direction, has contracted a serious kidney infection.
Singer Liam Payne, 29, has been hospitalized with a serious kidney infection. Due to this, the man’s South American concert tour has to be postponed.
– I was told that there is no going on tour with this disease, Payne says in his Instagram post.
– This is something I really don’t wish on anyone. According to the doctor’s orders, he now needs to rest and recover, he continues, referring to his kidney infection.

The video published by Payne on Instagram was filmed somewhere other than the hospital, so most obviously the man has already gone home.
Payne made her singing debut in 2008 when she participated The X Factor – for the audition of the television series. The show’s judge, Simon Cowell, selected five young people from the competition, who formed the band One Direction. Payne was one of them.
After One Direction went on hiatus in 2015, Payne became a solo artist.
