American singer Julee Cruise has died at the age of 65 years. Cruise’s husband Edward Grinnant told of the death of his wife on his Facebook account.
Cruise became known for the Twin Peaks series, the film Blue Velvet, and his close collaboration with the director David Lynchin with.

Cruise appeared in front of the camera in Twin Peaks a couple of times in the role of a bar singer.
Cruise released four solo albums during his career, the last of which was in 2011.
The singer had been ill for a long time and suffered from severe pain and difficulty in movement.
