Simple Minds are going on a world tour next year. The Scottish rock band is also coming to Germany for four dates. Your program starts on April 10, 2024 in the Barclays Arena in Hamburg. Simple Minds will play in Berlin and Frankfurt the following days, and on April 13th they will conclude their German concerts in Munich. The band Del Amitri has announced that they will be accompanying them as a support act for the entire “Global Tour” as “very special guests”. In October of last year, Simple Mind’s nineteenth studio album “Direction Of The Heart” was released and delivered eleven new tracks from the “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” band. Frontman and founding member Jim Kerr described the work this way: “How do you make a feel-good electro-rock record in the worst of times? ‘Direction Of The Heart’ is the result of this challenge.” In October, “New Gold Dream – Live From Paisley Abbey”, a live version of the rock band’s 1982 album of the same name, will be released.
