Gymnastics megastar Simone Biles is returning to the competition for the first time in two years. Biles last competed at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Biles’ planned return competition is the US Classic in Chicago in August.

26-year-old Biles has won seven medals in her career at the Olympics. The American gymnast won no fewer than four gold medals at the Rio Olympics.

Biles took a break from competing after the Tokyo Olympics to focus on her mental health. Biles also missed sports in Tokyo due to mental health reasons. However, the gymnast won Olympic bronze on the beam.

– My mental state varies depending on the time and situation. Coming to the Olympics as the number one seed is not an easy task, Biles commented after the team final of the Tokyo Olympics.

The 26-year-old gymnast has openly campaigned for maintaining mental health. Biles spoke openly about her own struggles with mental health at the Tokyo Olympics.

The US Classic is one of the biggest gymnastics competitions in the United States. The competitions have usually served as warm-up competitions for the US championships. The US Championships will be held this year in late August in San Jose.
