A major search has started for Simone Heemskerk-Buijs from Berkhout. The woman left early yesterday morning with her car and has been missing ever since. “She was not feeling well, we are very concerned about her,” said her brother-in-law.
Fred Heemskerk is in the car when we speak to him. “I drive around hoping to see her.” Simone (49) drives a striking orange-brown BMW with registration number RG-434-T (see the photo below). “Many friends are looking for her, but unfortunately without success.”
Depressed
The family can only guess at the exact reason for her departure. “But she’s been depressed lately.” What is known is that she left by car at 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning in the area of the Westeinde in Berkhout. Unable to contact her. “She left her phone at home, just like her wallet. She only has some cash with her,” says brother-in-law Fred.

Simone likes to visit the beach. “We and the police have looked everywhere there. She is probably still in North Holland.” He bases this on the traffic camera images. Nowhere is it to be seen that she has driven out of the province somewhere. “But yes, that still makes it a very large area to search. We hope she is found soon, we are very concerned.”
Signaling
Simone has a white complexion. She is 1.67 meters tall, has long blond hair and a normal build. She was wearing dark jeans, brown loafers, and a gray shirt and green short coat. People who see the woman can contact 112.
