Guido Weijers has thrown a very spicy rumor about Nick & Simon on the table in his New Year’s Eve conference. According to the comedian, Simon Keizer cheated with Nick Schilder’s wife.
After a long period of rumors about the alleged cheating of Simon Keizer, Nick & Simon announced in August that they are separating as a duo. During the interview about them break up Eva Jinek couldn’t resist asking the gentlemen if those adultery rumors have anything to do with their decision. They answered in the negative.
Adultery?
Guido Weijers is now taking the rumors about Nick & Simon to the next level. “What kind of juice was that this year? At one point they stopped looking at each other! What was going on? It was rumored that Simon had cheated on Nick’s wife. I also don’t know what is true or what is not,” he says in his New Year’s Eve conference.
It is not clear whether Guido misinterpreted the gossip, has other sources or whether he twists the gossip so that it better fits his closing joke. “The question then is: who is to blame and who should you blame? I think anyway: you can’t blame that woman, because I never keep Nick & Simon apart.”
Backbite
Remarkably enough, Guido lashes out hard at the bringers of gossip and backbiting in his conference. “What I really think is bad is gossip and backbiting: oh yes, Waylon, Danny de Munk and Charly Luske. Hey, they haven’t necessarily done anything criminal, have they? They have something to explain at home, but they have not necessarily done anything criminal.”
The viewer will undoubtedly wonder whether a diatribe against gossip and backbiting is credible if you eagerly use that same gossip and backbiting to make jokes about it. Anyway: Guido argues for a little more forgiveness for celebrities. “They’re not a bad person, they’re only human.”
