Silver to Finland! Sami Välimäki won the big pot

Finnish golf star Sami Välimäki won silver at the Mexico Open.

Silver place brings the Finn a hefty cash pot: 882,900 dollars, or more than 815,000 euros.

Välimäki went from the top places to take the gold in a tight race by Jake Knapp with. Knapp eventually won the race with a score of -19. Välimäki took second place with a result of -17.

They shared third place Stephan JaegerCT Pan and Justin Lower with a score of –14.
