More than 200 family members, friends and acquaintances have commemorated the deceased Dyshento (20) from Tilburg. They walked on Sunday evening, often dressed in a white t-shirt with a picture of their loved one, a silent journey.
The large group of people walked to the spot near the Wilhelmina Canal in Tilburg, where Dyshento was found by divers on Monday. He had been missing since the day before. Dyshento was riding his bike home from a party. He was last online on Snapchat at 6:45 AM. After that, no one heard from him again.
During the silent march, people lit torches, smoke pots and more fireworks. At the spot where Dyshento was taken out of the water on Monday, the group laid flowers and stuffed animals.
