A lot of damage was caused by a collision between two cars on the A1 near Naarden this evening. The highway is temporarily closed due to the damage on the road.
The accident was reported at 7:53 p.m. Due to an unknown cause, the rear car collided hard with the front car. Both vehicles must be recovered.
Earlier this evening, a van also went off the road on the A1. This happened around 7:30 PM, also near Naarden. The van came to a sudden stop, causing the engine to fly out of the vehicle.
An ambulance has been called for all occupants. Police could not report whether there were any injuries in either accident.
