Siggi Schwarz is celebrating his 50th stage anniversary this year. To mark this, his 3-CD album “50 Years Of Rock’n’Roll – Live & Rare” will be released on October 20th.
The three discs not only contain some unreleased tracks – including studio recordings with Chris Thompson and drummer Pete York from 2008 and collaborative material with Toto musicians Bobby Kimball and Steve Lukather. The record’s total of 43 tracks also include new interpretations of classics such as “Blinded By The Light”, “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “Can’t Get Enough” and rare concert recordings such as a performance with the former Climax Blues -Guitarist Pete Haycock.
In 2023, Siggi Schwarz also published his autobiography “Rock’n’Roll Road”. The book contains stories from the life and career of the guitarist, music producer and concert promoter.
