We all eat way too much salt and GPs and organizations such as the Kidney Foundation and the Heart Foundation have been drawing attention to this for years. A frozen pizza often contains more than the total daily amount of salt that is recommended (6 grams). It is in cookies, cheese, ice cream and in far too large quantities in processed foods.
