The boat has been moored since November 22 stuck on a sandbank and so far it has barely been able to move. Today’s attempt also failed. Unfortunately, a broken cable and short daylight threw a spanner in the works. “It’s just sour,” says daughter Lisette Reker. “We will still have high water in the next two days, so let’s hope that we can make another attempt tomorrow or the day after.
