Shrimp croquette festival sold out in 45 minutes

Ticket sales started on June 8 at 9:30 am and barely 45 minutes later the festival was completely sold out. Visitors will soon come to Ostend from all over the country and there is even international interest. Mayor Tommelein reacts enthusiastically: “This enthusiasm is really overwhelming. The festival is now in its third edition and still shows enormous potential. Everything about Ostend comes together in a shrimp croquette: fishing, culinary knowledge, nostalgia, enjoyment and being together. It is fantastic to see how many people throughout Flanders and even beyond want to taste our Ostend shrimp croquettes.”
