The squad of national coach Otto Becker also includes three-time World Cup winner Marcus Ehning (Borken) with Stargold, Christian Ahlmann (Marl) with Dominator and Jana Wargers (Hamburg) with Limbridge. The reserve pair are Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (Pinneberg) and Messi.
“This year the decision was particularly difficult because we have many very high-performing couples“, said Becker: “After intensive consultations, we have now decided on these five couples.” Aachen winner Gerrit Nieberg (Sendenhorst) with Ben and Olympic participant Daniel Deußer (Wiesbaden) with Killer Queen are not there.
