Shots fired and arrests made in casino robbery in Bergen

The police fired several warning shots during the arrest of two suspects this evening. The two are suspected of having robbed a casino on the Prinsesselaan in Bergen. According to witnesses, dogs are currently being used to search for more perpetrators.

Around 6.15 pm tonight the Flash Casino Bergen, in the center, was robbed. With the deployment of a helicopter and several officers on the street, the police arrested two suspects. A video was also made of this (see below).

Several warning shots were fired. It is not yet clear whether any more suspects have been released. “The investigation is still ongoing,” said a police spokesman.

Residents of Bergen report on social media that police dogs are being searched in the vicinity of the casino.

The police have not yet made any statements about the identities of the arrested suspects. There were no injuries, according to police. It is also not yet clear whether the robbers have stolen anything.
