Shot at home in Oss again, no one injured

Once again a house has come under fire in Oss. In the night from Friday to Saturday, shots were fired at a house on Veekraal. A woman was home at the time but was not injured.

The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m., a spokesman said. Shots were fired at the house from outside, according to someone nearby. But what exactly happened is still unclear.

“The police are now conducting an investigation,” the spokesperson said. “We would like to speak to witnesses and are conducting a technical investigation.”

While the police are busy with the investigation, it remains quiet on the street when a 112 correspondent sees. There is a single bullet impact in the window and there is a pawn in the street. A small part of the area has been cordoned off by the police.

Second night in a row
It is the second night in a row that a house in Oss has been shot at. The night before, it hit the Merelstraat. At around 2:30 p.m., local residents heard four explosions. There were bullet impacts in the window and casings were found.

The resident of that house had died a week earlier, so local residents thought the shooting might have been a mistake.
