There was a fire in the Lidl in Roden for a short time. The fire service was called just before 10am this morning. Immediate assistance was requested from the corps in Roden and Assen-West.
The fire brigade found the source of the fire inside and was able to extinguish it in a targeted manner. It may have been a fire in a refrigerator or freezer. Part of the parking lot of the store on Westerbaan was closed off. The fire attracted a lot of attention.
After about half an hour, the fire seemed to be extinguished and the store was ventilated.
