Already 12,000 football fields: 8,400 hectares of nature on Tenerife affected by forest fires

The forest fires on the Canary Island of Tenerife are still not under control after about four days. The flames have now spread over an area of ​​about 8,400 hectares of nature, regional government leader Fernando Clavijo said. That corresponds to an area of ​​12,000 football fields.
